Got this for a trip with my son. We like to dive and plan on using this regularly. I’m impressed with the design and the weight (super light) but the pump amazes me. The tank pumps up fairly easily, but takes a bit of time to do it. It’s not just a few pumps of air and ready to use. We have two tanks and to get them to about 2000 psi (to give enough time in the water) it took about 10 minutes and multiple trade offs pumping each bottle. Not sure how that’s going to work on the beach but we’re giving it a shot.

  4. Justin (verified owner)

works well , does exactly what it needs to.. it takes a very long time to charge it up. about 15 minutes of pumping to fill up completely.

  5. JamieLynne03 (verified owner)

Seems like a really good tank and can’t wait to use it!

Worked great for me! The tank is light and easy to swim with. I purchased a scuba tank to refill with and it is way easier than a pump. Highly recommend it. My daughter and I use them regularly and enjoy them very much. It seems well built and have had no issues thus far. Will update if anything changes. I have purchased two of these and they have worked well. I would buy this again. Enjoy.

I was really excited about getting this to clean the bottom of my boat. It’s tough having to constantly come up for air and it takes twice as long to do so, this this tank is perfect to get it all done in about 10 minutes. The tank is heavy duty, but lightweight enough to be portable, easy to fill, and does exactly what it says it will. Highly recommend for quick underwater jobs.

Remember as a kid thinking about how cool it would be to just vibe at the bottom of the pool with a scuba tank? Well here ya go!
    What I liked:
excellent build quality, does what it’s supposed to, and you can take it anywhere and pump it up when you wanna use it
    What I didn’t like :
Those reviews talking about how hard it is to pump it are NOT JUST BEING DRAMATIC! Even if you have decently toned biceps you’ll still find yourself needing a minimum of 3 or 4 breaks before it’s full, another thing I don’t like is the pump, it just seems kinda jenky and like it’ll break after a while idk.

  9. chris jackson (verified owner)

I am very impressed with the quality of the tank and the regulator. I did have to take it to my local dive shop to have it filled so I would suggest that you buy the filling station if you plan on filling it yourself.

Good tank. These were originally designed as an emergency backup to the main tank when scuba diving and now they’re available tot he public. You have to do your research first and can’t dive down more than a meter or so without risk but they’re fun for looking underwater for a longer time. I like that it’s refillable with a pump or air compressor.

Super cool! Didn’t know this existed. Live about an hour outside of Lake Tahoe so I’m gonna take it out there and have some fun! Would recommend buying if you want to get a little more complicated then snorkeling.

Nicely Made Spare Air Tank, Best for Certified Divers.
I’m a PADI Divemaster, so I’m pretty familiar with scuba equipment. This is a nice little spare-air rig. It comes with a good wrist strap for use in the water, and a carry bag with a shoulder strap you would use on land. You can also use that carry bag to strap it to your BCD. I ordered it in bright green, because that is a color that is highly visible underwater. They also throw in spare set of O rings. They included a small hex wrench, but I’m not sure what that’s intended for. The instructions are nicely printed but pretty rudimentary, and probably won’t be that useful for anyone who doesn’t already at least basically know their way around this kind of gear.

    Our Commercial Diver Loves It!
We were excited to receive this item as we have a commercial diver in-house.
Here is what he had to say:
    -Good for 6-8 breaths
-Will work well as a backup air
-Easy fill from a larger tank
    -Lightweight
-He Loves it, not to use it for recreation, but as a tool to help clean the bottom of our sailboat this summer. It will save him from popping up to the surface over and over again. He thinks he will be able to scrape the entire bottom a lot quicker than usual.
-I think it will be fun to use for a quick dive if I see something unusual below

Having dived a few times in my life through the military and in personal travels. I can easily say this is an impressive little dive bottle. While traveling I have numerous times wished I had my gear with me. But the effort to bring heavy dive equipment is often too hard and is left behind. Then cost to rent is sometimes too much for just a short session. This makes it possible to jump in the water and spend a few extra minute down below. Its compact light weight and lets me pack it in my luggage or put it my gear bag for road trips to the lake, river, or ocean. I love snorkeling and this is perfect for a short shallow water dive. This thing looks pretty tough and the built very well for its compact size. It’s has plenty of uses outside of just snorkeling such as dropping something in the river or lake and having to go down and look for it. You can inspect for damage under your craft. What important to know is that this is a short experience. It took me roughly 30 mins with a hand pump to bring it to 200psi. I was pretty wore out before ever jumping into the water. So this is best used in conjunction with a snorkel set. The wrist strap got im my way a lot, so I just strapped it to my belt in case I dropped it. I didn’t have an adapter so I couldn’t fill it at my local dive shop. I had to order a hand pump and im not yet sure if, but I may invest in a compressor for it later on.

Overall I highly recommend getting a PADI class before you go into the water with it. This is definitely dive equipment and should be treated as such. It needs to be inspected and maintained for your safety. It is recommended to a maximum of 10 meters. That’s pretty deep and you can get into a lot of trouble if your inexperienced that far down. Yet Its a ton of fun and great for travel.

Very well made, as expected for both the cost and how important it is for a product like this. Will be perfect for getting bottles under water. Sometimes I need just a little more time than a snorkel or big breath can give for the silt to move and this will give me the extra breath or two I need.

  22. Mayor Hal (verified owner)

Great little tank for emergencies or for use if you need to check something out under your boat. The fact that you can pump this up using a compressor or hand or foot pump is an amazing bonus.

I plan to take this on a trip to the Caribbean in June and will do a more detailed review then, but for right now I can say I am thrilled with this, especially for the money (especially when it is on sale like it is now!)
