Refund policy

At SMACO, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please review our Return & Refund Policy below.

1. Return Eligibility

Customers who purchase directly from SMACO may request a return within 30 days after delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused, in its original condition, and, for mini scuba tanks, must not have been filled with compressed air or used underwater.
  • All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and included parts are returned.
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is provided.
  • The return request has been approved by SMACO Customer Support before the item is shipped back.

2. Return Shipping

Unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped by SMACO:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
  • Shipping charges paid when placing the order are non-refundable.
  • Any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees incurred during the return process are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed by SMACO.

3. Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item has been inspected and approved.
  • Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a confirmed product defect or an error on our part.

If the returned item does not meet our return requirements, the refund request may be declined.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect:

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Order number
  • Photos or videos of the issue
  • Description of the problem

After review, SMACO will provide an appropriate solution, including replacement parts, repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.

5. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they have been fulfilled or shipped.

Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. Customers may instead request a return after receiving the product according to this policy.

6. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following products may not be eligible for return unless they are defective:

  • Mini scuba tanks that have been filled with compressed air, submerged in water, or used for diving activities.
  • Products showing signs of misuse, modification, accidental damage, or unauthorized repair.
  • Products returned without original accessories or packaging.
  • Customized or personalized products.
  • Clearance or Final Sale items.

7. EU Right of Withdrawal

For customers located in the European Union:

If your purchase is covered by applicable consumer protection laws, you may have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods without providing a reason. 

This statutory right does not affect your additional 30-day return policy offered by SMACO where applicable.

Certain products may be exempt from the right of withdrawal to the extent permitted under applicable law.

8. Return Authorization

Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or delayed.

How to Start a Return

  • Your order number
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos or videos (if applicable)

Our support team will review your request and provide return instructions if your return is approved.
